Darby Hoggatt started Hoggatt Law Office, P.C. on July 19, 2002, and has operated the firm in Fort Collins ever since. In 2016, we expanded with a new law office in Greeley, Colorado. We specialize in workers’ compensation, auto accidents, and personal injury law in Northern Colorado.

Darby Hoggatt is the owner, and one of the Fort Collins Lawyers at Hoggatt Law Office, P.C. Darby is a Wyoming native who grew up in Wyoming and western South Dakota. After graduating from Spearfish High School in 1988, he attended the University of Wyoming where he obtained a bachelor’s of science in finance in 1992 and a law degree in 1995. After passing the Colorado and Wyoming bar exams in the Fall of 1995, he worked in general practice with the Hughes Law Office in Sundance, Wyoming in 1996 and 1997. He passed the South Dakota bar exam in 1996. He then worked as a mortgage banker in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1998 and 1999. Thereafter he started practicing workers’ compensation, personal injury, auto accident and social security disability law in Fort Collins, Colorado in November 1999.
Darby is a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association and the Workers Compensation Education Association. Both are organizations that represent lawyers who represent the injured in their claims against insurance companies. Darby is an active member of a local Christian organization as well.
I have two paralegals that assist me and each one is a seasoned veteran in her respective area. We all share a legal assistant who helps all three of us manage our disabled clients.
Cameron Lucke is the newest member of the Hoggatt Law Team. He is a native of Ft. Lewis, Washington who has lived all over the United States as well as in Germany and Australia. Cameron graduated from Robert G. Cole Junior/Senior High School in San Antonio, TX. Afterward, he attended Michigan State University where he obtained a bachelor’s of arts in Comparative Cultures and Politics. He went on to obtain his law degree from University of Denver in 2014. After passing the Colorado bar exam, Cameron worked for several years in the areas of workers compensation and personal injury before moving to Fort Collins and joining the Hoggatt Law Office in early 2017 to practice workers compensation law, auto accident law and personal injury law in the Greeley and Fort Collins area.
Cameron is also a member of the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association, an excellent organization that assists lawyers who represent the injured in their claims against insurance companies. Cameron is an effective communicator, a fierce advocator, and an attorney who always puts his clients first. He has successfully advocated for clients in and out of the courtroom and is not afraid to take on large insurance companies of all kinds to ensure his clients are not taken advantage of.
Gloria manages our workers’ compensation and social security disability claims with compassion and a deep empathy for our clients. Many of our clients see Gloria for personal advice as they struggle with their disabilities and the frustrations that are common to battling insurance companies. Gloria is a bright light that shines upon all of us. She has been with Hoggatt Law Office since June 2003.
Melissa handles our auto accident and personal injury claims with extreme skill. She obtained an English degree from Colorado State University which complements the extensive writing that is required in this field. She has exceptional research skills which further enhances her effectiveness. Melissa first became a personal injury paralegal in 2009 and became a part of Team Hoggatt in April 2016.
Patricia is our receptionist and supports Darby, Gloria and Melissa in many different ways. She joined Team Hoggatt in October 2016 after working for the Weld County Public Defender’s office. Patricia consistently greets our struggling clients with her amazing smile and positive outlook on life. Her future is bright as she is in training to become a full-time paralegal.
