I hired Hoggatt Law in Fort Collins, Colorado back in July 2021 after I was involved in a work accident in which I was a truck driver and had to take a ditch to avoid a trash truck who had stopped diagonally in the middle of the highway which forced me to, take a ditch and I rolled my semi.Darby and Cecilia did everything possible and explained the process that I would be going through even if they had to explain it multiple times because the accident caused me to have a brain injury. Welcome back, as you searched, you have found, so many pages, that come up with positive reviews from 5 stars to 4.8. Over, 1000 reviews, by people that were effected in an unjust and negative way, just like you. Almost every single person, helped by this attorneys office, has benefited in some way. These people “clients” have had their issues resolved with, overturned work comp claims, social security disability, car accidents all the way to dog bites.
Hoggatt law, is a personal injury law firm, that represents you and your interests, while providing insight into how you have been affected by your injury, to the people who refuse to listen. They will stay by your side, managing your claim from start to finish, and stay available to you, even after your case is closed.
Now you may be asking, who are you ? With a user name like that, why should I trust your review?
Here is the real life, summary, of my relationship with Hoggatt law offices.
In 2014 I was denied workman’s comp by a doctor who said nothing was wrong with me after a work related semi accident. I was lost and had no where to turn. I was getting beat up everywhere I went, and it lasted for a very, long time. My brain was not working, I didn’t have any idea of what was happening. My memory was almost gone, no short term memory and on top of that, amnesia. I had bills piling up, my wife was, the only family member, working with 2 baby boys, and a husband (me) that couldn’t wake up to save his life.. My wife knew something was wrong. So she reached out to Darby Hoggatt.
From the day, I met Darby, he was concerned and ready to help, he directed my recovery and was constantly asking questions on how I was, how I felt, how my body was and if there was anything more I needed to have checked out. He handled the work comp agency quickly and effectively. We were paying off our bills and getting caught up and getting our boys the proper care. While the work comp started paying on all the medical that had been piling up. (Years worth)
In the end, I was given a disability rating by the insurance company. This rating determined my impairments and disability’s. At that time I was still cognitively impaired and had daily issues retaining memory. I was living off reminder journals and notes. The compensation won was very fair, and the best possible outcome to my injury.
I don’t want to fascinate you with dollar amounts. Everybody has a different case. Just know, I believe that there is not another lawyer out there that would have gone through the trouble of informing all the important people of my recovery and permanent impairments.
I was likely one of the top 5, most difficult cases this office has ever taken on. A close head Traumatic Brain Injury is nearly impossible to represent. That was the biggest issue effecting me and my life. It was a learning experience, to say the least, but the law office stepped up to the plate, representing me when I could not speak, think or talk for myself.
I will and am forever thankful to Hoggatt law office, if not for them, I would have ended up homeless, divorced, and I would not have my children and family I do today.
It is true that we will heal with time. But we can never heal all the way. My case is not an exception I am still recovering, and I still have Hoggatt law office and everyone on the team by my side as I continue my recovery 12 years later.

I called the Hoggatt Law Office with a general question regarding my workers' comp case.I spoke with a very nice lady named Shannon. Even though Hoggatt wasn't handling my case, Shannon listened to my question and said she'd do some research and call me back, which she did.She patiently answered my question and explained her answer. She even enlightened me on a very important aspect of workers' comp cases that I didn't even know existed. To top it all off, she said I could call again if I had any more questions.Shannon didn't have to do this for me, but she did. That was incredibly kind of her, especially when you consider that law firms are very busy and usually won't bother with someone they're not representing.Thank you so much, Shannon. Hoggatt Law worked with us on my husband's SSDI application. After initially being denied, we hired Hoggatt Law to help with our appeal. Darby Hoggatt took us through the entire process, providing guidance for documenting my husband's disability. Darby in knowledgeable about resources in our community and provided the best advice we have received. Finally, after 2 1/2 years, my husband received his SSDI determination, fully favorable, with back pay to the date when he became disabled, monthly payments, and Medicare. Yes, it takes a long time. But I am certain that it would have taken longer, with multiple appeals, and a less positive outcome, without Hoggatt Law.

I was involved in a motor vehicle accident on January 4, 2021, in which my car was destroyed and I was injured. Don't look any further if you need representation! I would highly recommend Hoggatt Law Office P.C. to anyone. Cameron and Shea met with my husband and I and walked us through the process of our car accident claim. Everything when smooth and I was able to step back from dealing with the insurance company and focus on other things that needed to be addressed. They where easy to get a hold of and always made time to discuss any questions I had. We where VERY happy with the end results.

Darby and his team helped us through 2 1/2 years of stress of dealing with Workers Comp after my husbands work accident. Gloria, his paralegal, was always an encouragement and very helpful. I was injured in an auto accident and was told by my insurance they would pay to fix my car but that was it. I decided to call Hoggatt and was met by a very nice lady named Melissa. She is someone that is very nice and then once you see her start to work (especially in negotiations for your settlement) she turns into a beast. The process can obviously take a bit but if you follow all directions given I would say 9 times out of 10 you will win. I still can't believe that they were able to get me the amount I received for my accident. Even when I was ready to settle she explained that we needed to ask for higher and sure enough she was right. Be sure to give them a call if you have been in an accident even if you don't know if you want a lawyer. It was free to meet with her first and go over your case and then she will tell you her honest opinion on if she believes it's winnable and worth the time.
